But more than fifty years ago, our reputation for “White Glove Service” attracted steel and textile manufacturers, and ultimately every other type of importer. The company is a privately owned firm with the Head Office next to the Pearson International Airport, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Customs brokerage soon became just one of many import-export services extended to our clients. Full electronic customs brokerage is offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After-hours services for freight handling and warehousing are also available. Beyond customs entries, Rutherford offers consultation and service for Goods and Services Tax, Excise Tax, foreign customs clearance, Non-Resident Importer status reporting, and since 2001, a comprehensive Canada Customs Import Compliance Verification analysis program.
